Well as I said in the inital post, set it with a basic blacklist of goods.

The blacklist would contain the usual suspects. Cardi, slaves, synthweed, blackmarket munitions, nomies, etc etc, and have a filter set so it only works if the person has more than 2-3, so folks cant abuse it on folks who just have RP cargo (I once, as example, saw a mixed group of indie lawfuls and indie bhunters in liberty gank a salveger because he had one over the limit of I think it was black market munitions, like 6 instead of 5 or something).

This wouldnt really change anything, BUT it would make the whole 'ololol i ignore u and quickdock at manhat' issue moot, because suddenly manhat is red to them IF they do not drop it.

If it were set for basic illegal goods it'd be pretty hard to abuse, especily since as I stated in the 1st post there would be coded consequences for false reporting.

That said, it COULD also over time be expanded to allow for more features,IE: prehaps add a passworded feature for the script to allow ranking members of a police/navy and trusted indies to get the person an insta temp-red thru this, with both in RP and potentely admin driven penalties for maliscious abuse (for example, as leader of LPI Zapp could RP ordering a lockdown cause so and so is breaking the blockade oh noes! Then he does the command and an insta TEMPORARY rephax. If it were setup to do that as well, it could over time also be given to trusted RPers too, tho that's just a pipe dream for now (and admitedly, way more open to abuse) and I'd be content with the fairly basic idea I outlined in the 1st post (actualy, I first posted this basic idea back in .84, but yeah.. )

As for goods to be on the blacklist.... just use the same list that NPCs do basicly. If the cargo aint on that list, it gets flagged as a false report.

Just set it to not trigger unless the quantity is over 5 or something like that.

For the potentel of abuse for things like pilots, for example I once saw a LPI indie prison liner that had about 100 or so LPI pilots, a few LN ones too, and 2-3 LSF ones, plus a lotta prisoners, various pirat pilots, and rhinland pilots. Under this, this guy would be at risk, but if it were set so certain IDs would be exempted from the player initiated check (IE: if a liberty ID reports the guy in liberty, and his ID is LN/LPI/LSF, it wont go thru) that would remove that angle of abuse (and its rather hard to smuggle with a lawful ID....)

Sounds nice, I could see this being useful, stopping a smuggler that was caught from docking the planet right next to you...
