Why not?

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

Long as it's not playing for keeps I'd be okay with straight Junkers on Hogosha action.

Also, take flight experience into account. Junker players are more politicians and cargo runners as opposed to being the Hog-Farm-Gaian Alliance Tau Blockade Fleet. Add in the players that went Hogosha because they love the Black Dragon for pvp -- there's quite a few nowadays. There's a significant median skill difference to take into consideration, as well as the hardware.

Junkers as a whole aren't exactly up to the task, but if it's all just for giggles and bragging rights I think most would be up for dusting off the combat ship. Most Junker players ache for an excuse to fight using Junker characters and tech as opposed to getting their combat jollies in other factions.

Y'know, being close in trade with the different factions who make and sell them, I would think they could at least have a few.

Or, y'know, have them for the sake of balance in this event, on a /restart server where nothing really matters...

See what I'm aiming for?

Wouldn't matter. The only ship of that line we would be using is the BW Transport, and it IS available to Junkers.

Ask Admins for that, personally I don't mind, I'd be glad to have BW line as allowed.:D

Kurosora was talking about Sabres & Scmittars.

Well, I suppose both sides could use CTE-series ships in addition to their fighter wings.

Playing for keeps on this front would be similar to telling Corsairs and Hessians to make an event to decide the battle for Omega-5 once and for all.
I don't think it's that big of an outcome Rudo, it a single base out of the many Junker bases. It's a bigger deal for the Hogosha to lose than it is for the Junkers.

But again, I agree with there still being major balance issues. The idea of this thread was to find a way to work that out. Transports and freighters only seems to be the best solution I've heard yet.

Also, this is canon. A lot of players have a lot staked at these two stations, that may not be able to even make this event.

Playing for keeps on this front would be similar to telling Corsairs and Hessians to make an event to decide the battle for Omega-5 once and for all. How would that go down?

I'd say it's a pretty vital base, especially with upcoming joint RP with factions in the area. It's not like a fight for Thunder Bay or Bornholm which are both pretty useless and won't be missed.

[1:58:58 AM] Mwerte says: i like the idea "Hogosha win, they do significant damage to Yanagi, inRP forcing a slowdown in smuggling shipments, but they did -just- enough damage to us that we didn't have enough forces to take over the base. Hogosha lose we go home to lick our wounds."

Hessians/Corsairs is a LOT more balanced then Junkers/Hogosha.
