Quote:People are now using it as an excuse to get out of RP and it's consequences.
A couple of times now Players bring Hostile-To-Liberty ships, and when confronted start to rp, but then when they realize that they can not win or are outnumbered, this is what is getting reported:
"They appeared, I interdicted, started talking. They ignored me and continued, just saying "//going to Conn"...but only when my backup arrived and he was outnumbered..."
It appears that people want to use Connecticut as a "Get out of Consequences" card.
I acknowledge the fact that staging attacks from or Running into Connecticut from a fight is OORP and people have been spanked for it.....
But can it be used as an excuse to avoid a situation in the first place?
Quote:If they run from NY to Conn while in an interaction, you have every right to chase them and blow them to pieces.
If they are actually interacting with you and then 'change their minds' and head to Connecticut, then take screens and post it. We will NOT tolerate that, any more than we will tolerate someone using it as a staging ground for an attack.
