That's why he protects his life: the most important possession he has. Does that RP matter? "Of course not." is that answer most people give. There's a respawn button. We can always come up with another reason as to why we appear back at a base even though exploding is very unpleasant.
There are other motivations than money for some pirates. If you are a BMM and I am a Molly and I meet you, then I will tax you lots regardless of cargo. If you refuse I don't care. I'll kill you. It suits my goals as a Molly. If I am a Liberty Rogue and I meet a BMM, obviously I want to make money. If you die it doesn't help me. That RP matters.
Consider other's RP as well. Just because you can come up with a perfectly good reason for your character does not mean that the other character in the interaction would agree.
Pirate in question was Council, what is Council have to do with BMM, or pirating for that matter.
I saw you walking down the streat, your eyes, your lips, your nose, everything was so perfect. I started singing "who let the dogs out."
Learn to consider other RPs too. just because it doesn't fir -your- vision of RP doesn't mean it isn't RP. There are pirates out for money, there are some out for brutal RP.
Like 'Pay me that and that' Trader tries to negotiate the sum down. Pirate gives last chance, blows the trader up.
You wouldn't resist someone pointing a gun to your face in RL either, would you? Considering you're a normal civilian of course.
Understand the basic principles of RP please.

You took Beryllium to Alessia, right? The Council are opposed deeply to the Royalty, you know. If you're heading in from the Border Worlds to Langeduoc, I think the Council can reasonably conclude that you just brought something to the royalists if you're doing that. Makes sense that they'd like to punish you.
But then again that's really a question you could politely ask him.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
Role play doesn't and shouldn't necessarily end in your favour every time. If you think the way you're treated is unfair and go complaining about will only get responses like "deal with it".
So you met a series of conditions set by the greater fictional environment which enabled the offending party to fall into the role of an aggressor, and your retort is to claim that this is a pvp server due to your inability to circumvent the very notion of roleplay that you demand others adhere to?
Basically, 2milordai is roleplay. While it has nothing to do with the role or anything remotely close, it is widely accepted as such. Deal with it. Metagame, avoid, F1 or whatever you can do within the rules to avoid being pirated. No matter how great your ingame talk is , pirate wants cash, the player does, think he cares? He does not.
Only thing i can say to this, is rp or no rp, ive been pirated by some folks, and still do by others - these caliber of individuals, by there inrp and oorp conduct, are not, and never will be worthy of my respect - i do not rp with them, and would not give them an effing dime if they were starving, both inrp and oorp.
some pirates, because of there players, i will never, ever pay. rp or no.
only two rate on this list - one (who no longer plays) made it a habit of f1'ing his pirate vessels in our mining field, not stopping until he'd killed all our ships for the night, and on the times we did pay him, he would blow us up afterwards.
the other one, who is very active, likes to f1 multiple alts in the same field - if we chase one off, he'll just log to the next - we caught his pirate p-trans docking once, and he logged to an indie hessian - in effing cambridge i should add - just to pirate us.
so yeah. some folks arent worth your time to take them seriously.
