Yep. Running through Omicron Kappa doesn't work so well now the nom-nom NPC's fly there all day.
88% more prices - those that mean more variety in trade routes? Can't just be the new house. And- where'd I find the Brain file for episode 13? Sounds interesting..

More commodities, way more systems and a crapload of new bases.

We cant land on house space anymore, so we need some decent ones.
It's been somewhat tricky designing routes that loop back around to the starting point and don't require House bases. I'm interested to know what you think the best of all the sucky zoner routes is, currently.
snoozzzer, the Episode 14 brain file will be available after Episode 14 is released publicly. Perhaps within a day of the release, no more than a week after. It will probably be available from the trading guide that I will post on the wiki when Episode 14 comes out, but it will be linked in my signature for certain.

Yo, Xoria, you usually have a bum rap for the downfalls in the trading system and economy, but for Cthulhu's sake man, you're awesome. You're the only person around here that I know of who can put up with doing the entire commodity routes for the mod. I wouldn't be able to do it, that's for sure. So kudos to you; you deserve it.

That's odd, FLCompanion says there was x out of 7291 prices changed when loading prices from memory... I think either you simply miscalculated that or FLC has dropped 1,047 prices somewhere. :S

One of the things I think could be improved with the Discovery economy is a more ubiquitous nature for certain commodities. With the current system, it seems there are several hot points for both supply and demand, production and consumption, etc... but beyond these points for purchase and sale, most bases offer a standard price and do not sell an item. I think this is inaccurate.
Granted, there is only so much you can do before people start taking advantage of subtleties within a price network. However, I personally think it would be good to envision the prices as more of a "scalar field" than with only a few good points to trade a commodity. I am generalizing a bit too much, but I would imagine one would be able to find the commodity Food Rations for sale at a great number of bases, not just a few.
In brief, I believe that, for a given commodity, the number of bases offering a "default" buy/sell price should be minimized. That's a mouthful of a statement right there.
ok, so i downloaded that brain program.... sat down to start writing down the ridiculously complicated smuggling route that i do... aaaand get lag kicked 16 times in a row.
