how about they lose the ship and the guns, but get a nasty rephax: they're hostile to everyone that their old faction are hostile to, AND hostile to their old faction. they can only dock on junker, zoner and freelancer bases, and cannot enter territory controlled by their old faction
Well Requiem, unlike some of my hardcore, elitist, and close-minded associates, I like the idea. RP consequences for failed RP. If some lulwut goes and gives the faction a bad name, he gets FR5'd. Might as well add some more flavor to the situation.
So then, at present this idea goes something like this:
"Exile ID": ID that can only be given via admin to players in serious breach of official faction conduct, at the request of official faction leaders (FR5).
Rephack- Unfriendly to all except Freelancer, Zoner, and Junker IFFs, which remain at neutral standing.
May only ally with Independent Pirates, Smugglers, Freelancers, Mercs, Zoners, and Junkers.
Well, since the point of the ID is to punish the offender, I thought it'd be best to avoid giving Exiles access to one of the more powerful VHF ingame... ya know?
Plus most Borderworld tech is usually used by Outcast and LH, so I considered it as a faction shipline, even though it's not.
I didn't see it as so much of a punishment than an RP thing, for certain groups who have been FR5'd through RP rather than being stupid.
But if it's meant to be for the idiots who get FR5'd for doing silly stuff, then go ahead. Though then again, silly things usually warrant a sanction instead.
However, borderworld isn't remotely connected to any faction really, considering the Bundschuh, Red Hessains, blah blah blah... Even those who are unfriendly to the outcasts.
