That was the intension. All houses (except kusari) are currently at war, so the house fleets can be, where they should:
at the front.

Fun dies with the player owned BSs:player owned fighters/bomber count is 10:1. I have never seen it anywhere. All the sci-fi games/movies discribe the BSs/Dreads as a Large military vessels escorted by 20-100 an over fighters. Since we cant have that much fighters it is easier to just limit the count of the Largest Capital Vessels.

It's simple.

Outcasts need caps to counter Corsair caps.
Corsair need caps to counter Outcast caps.

And this is why both Outcasts and Corsairs need caps.

I really dont see the big fuss. Caps sucks big time as is, and any bomber gank will easily waste any cap venturing too far away from home.

In regards to realism, I really don't know. I don't see why massively ressourceful unlawful factions wouldn't be able to build caps.

Me, as many other players, do not have fun in snubs. Actually, I'll soon sell the last snubcrafts that I possess, except for 2 Colonial ones, that are waiting for the revival of the faction, and will leave only cruisers and capital ships, mostly. With 1-2 boats, few transports/miners.

I didn't fly snubs for 10+ months anyway.

Then the OC would whine about IMG indies raiding Malta with battlecruisers. So we remove them. Then IMG complains about Scyllas hitting their gunboats on the California stretch. So we remove the Scyllas. Then Sairs complain about the Zoners getting feisty with their Juggies. So we remove all Zoner caps...

... go this route and you'll be removing every cap in the game. Caps aren't the major issue anyway, a few who seem a mite unbalanced aside. Cap battles are measured in seconds. Snub battles can last well over an hour.

And personally, I find a quick cap vs cap slaughter with many big explosions on both sides rather satisfying.

The OCs still have there Destroyers and a battlecruiser isnt a problem for a squad of 2 bombers or a bomber and a gunship.
The other thing that could be done is to give the OCs and Corsairs a battlecruiser and remove the bigger caps...and make the Vidar and Hel the biggest ships in the RH lines. Dont get me wrong the Jourmungand is a great ship but it has no place with the Red Hessians for the same reason...pirate factions lack the resoures.

Read the 3-4 pages back...the main 5 houses have resourses, mining facilities, trade/shipping corporations and douzens of planets with extractable meterials.

It is dump to think that a pirate faction can have a bigger capship fleet than the one of the 5 houses.
