Novas should definetely stay unchanged. In real life single fighter can do a lot of damage with the proper arms and intelligence.For example - the F/A-22 - USA Air Force newest toy. This thing can destroy naval ships with the size of a city with no prob. Can carry even thermo-nuclear missles. So definetely come to think of it a fighter is a very deadly weapon.

I think we should have more weapons which have a slow refire rate and have a big cool animation and do a lot of damage (like in the Fl alliance-coalition intro those big coalition ships firing those cool big blue lasers). :cool:
Get over it guys. We arent going to have another game for planetary battles. And if we do and it is Starcraft watch out. WA (where AW is from) has about 30-40 members on there and would come help us :D.
But, as far as I've seen, they play mostly UMS, which doesn't say anything. (like 600 games of snipers? Melee is the type of game that really counts =P)

Pfffffttt.....I don't need to change mine. I still have all those characters, and I'm not going to pay to have the names changed, unless you want to pay for them :P . And you STILL have to change yours.
Dont know if anyone else has noticed this but the liberty gunboat has a flaw. You can only buy/sell 6 turrets and the gun, the 7th one seems to be unmovable and stays as a gunboat defense turret.

Liberty Gunboat: will check.
Planetary battles: what are you talking about?! That's up to you what other games you play, don't tie this to Freelancer please.
Nomad and Order factions: Order faction will have some further development, but Nomads won't be a faction. Nomads are hostile to all humanity. Player is a human being and cannot join them. Yes, it's possible to fly their ships and use their equipment; but no more.
New ship models for Outcasts, Corsairs, etc: if you find the ship you are talking about or maybe do it yourself, then I will introduce it. I don't know any ships that fit your descriptions, sorry.
Railgun: may be introduced, and Tizona turret may be introduced too (though will cost real lot , and original Tizona will cost a bit more too).
More fighters in encounters: you want more lag? I don't. And regarding lag of Swarm missile, maybe make its fire rate less? This could help against lag. Also applies to chainguns (unfortunately, may have to reduce their refire rate).
Exclusive items, as Daedalus proposed: sounds fine, but we don't have any events for which those items may serve as a reward. Otherwise, I don't know whom those items should be given to.
Advanced ship controls: if Freeworlds has it, doesn't mean that I know how to apply this, and doesn't mean that instructions on this are generally available. Moreover, I think that ship controls should remain original. And no, there will be no engines for sale or engine upgrades. Discovery is not another clone of Evolutions in this way. Besides, adding variable engines will require some exe editing.
If there's anything important that I missed, post again, and post more. Please remember that I haven't got too much time for working on the mod now and won't be able to add as much as 4.78, so don't expect too much from next mod version(s).
Is it possible in Fl too add a Beam Cannon like a Charge up weapon that do enourmous amounts of Dmg but takes like 3 min too shoot
and has a 10 second Shot?
