Alright.
The amount of money a miner can pay for his protection is negligible compared to the needs of a military organization like the Core (which has already all the money needed by the way).
And, sorry to repeat myself, but it's not the Core's job. I have no problem with caps protecting miners provided it is justified.
The Core has to fight against Aliens and a powerful organization with extremely advanced technology.
Using their capital ships to protect miners in a system where you don't encounter any of the above is pointless.
I believe mining is a very good source of income both oorp and IRP, so its onnly logical that they have loads of money to afford large amounts of protection, leaving large amounts of money in the pocket of the protector.
If people wouldnt "need" capital ships there, they wouldnt use them, would they? That argument works both OORP and IRP. Capital ships cost more both OORP and IRP.
Where does the Core get its money?
Why is it hte Core's job to fight aliens and the ORder?
I thought the key word in "bounty hunters" was "bounty".
Or was the COre hired with loads of money to attack Order, Zoners, and Nomads?
If it was, I didnt see any RP post indicating that.

BUT you can rp someone/a crew who is with them but was punished(cuz of disobeying orders or something),and has to act like an ordinary Bounty Hunter(or crew) or something cuz he has been punished and they don't trust him/them with the ongoing war,so now they task him with the ordinary stuff.

In-RP, the money made from mining would fund entire House economies.
Unless, we are seriously doubting that, let me move on.
Now, where does the money come from for the Core to fight nomads?
Also, if the Core has all the money it needs, no harm in expanding it's business. (smoke)

Sounds like a workaround to go where you want in your shiny capship.
I think a "punished" member would just be FR5ed.

I don't think the faction X needs 12 fighters to kill faction's Y 2 pilots, but faction X still do it. One can't entirely trust people.

I think Agmen is more competent than me to explain in detail what is the Core about, so I'll let him answer.

Frankly, I don't know. But it's the same for many other big factions. They are rich, but nobody knows why.

And making it against the rules or up to the whims of faction leaders when it is right to attack 12 vs 2 would be equally wrong as it would be to say that miners cant hire caps for protection. Just going to point out that the caps are actually DEFENDING and no one is forced to attack them. And its not like its impossible to blow away a cap with bombers, or even with another cap, as long as the cap doesnt attack the miner.
