That's the point. Also Liberty Forces which protect the area from piracy would be a direct intervention into the war (because liberty and rheinland keep neutrality), I don't think the LSF would just stand around and watch while Kusari and Bretonian Pilots killing each other....

You might find it interesting that doing missisons for the Kusari State Police has a significant positive influence on your LSF rep.

LSF's list of enemies include Corsairs, Red Hessians and Unioners. Since none of those groups exist in Liberty space it suggests to me that this intelligence organization, "operating in secrecy", gets involved in other parts of Sirius to defend their corporate partners. Thanks to jump holes it's possible to get from Liberty to Tau space without taking armed ships through Bretonia, so no worries about violating somebody else's air space. I don't see any justification for saying "LSF combat ships can't be in Tau-31!" as long as they have Liberty tagged traders to defend.

Okay, as long as they defend liberty tagged traders its going to be ok, but whats about other traders? Rheinland or Bretonia tagged for example? What happens if some pirates are coming to planet harris which demand the cargo of bretonia and rheinland tagged traders, but the pirates don't treat liberty tagged traders? Is the LSF going to watch while the pirates are shooting those traders down?

Sorry I may be a bit late on this and it seems to have phased out, but I want to throw this in there anyway:

Realistically, a house should have control over their space and do all of the military required matters within it. The ally would be there to support them if they were having major problems, or for a war as in SF's/SA's case. SA is granted access to help SF out in the war, and against HF if the desperate need arises. Other situations would probably be dealt within the respective house and government as long as no additional help was requested.

As for LSF operating in Bretonian space, this does not seem to fit. They are very similar to a police faction, though quite different, but probably have no reason to operate in Bretonia. This would be like Liberty sending police up to Kusari - it isn't necessary.

Good point, Hyperwave, but you have forgotten one critical factor. The American pilots resigned from the US Armed Forces to fight in the RAF. They flew with the RAF insignia, and colors on their planes. Same with the Flying Tigers in China. They abandoned their paychecks, and their rank to fight in a foreign army.

Now, until I see some SA/LSF resigning from their faction, and sporting SF tags, I will not be satisfied with them being 4 systems away from Liberty, muddling around in Bretonia.

Allow me to clear this up a little bit: The pilots resigning wasn't what I was talking about. The U.S. ended supplying the Allies with just about everything they needed in order to fight the war. The U.S. wasn't in a war at the time, and as such, had much more money to go around. They began to loan supplies mostly to Britain, but after some time, the loan services were just a way to appease the American Public. The U.S. realized how important it was to help their allies, and more or less just gave the Allies money and supplies. Britain was never able to fully pay us back because of the damage that was done to them through the Battle of Britain, the London Blitz, and the rest of the war over in Mainland Europe.

Since when have there been Corsairs in Liberty?

There aren't any. So Liberty ships shouldn't be attacking Corsairs in Bretonia.

Also, 'full homeland defence' pacts are very rare, although not unheard of. But they seem to be the only kind of alliance going, save the SF/RM one, which is basically non-existent.

OPG has been assualting us the last two weeks, and TBH has made an attack or two please read the message dump.

Secondly you've never encountered SA in tau-31 or even seen them, because I believe I sent them once to support the BSG. You weren't involved in that battle and don't read the message dump thus you had no idea. LSF trade in tau-31 and that's about it. Basically I wonder wtf your doing, bored and decided to go on some phantom bashing?

Wait, so then why is it considered in-RP when the HF attacks and goes to war against SF? The only place that Lane Hackers operate in Bretonia is Manchester (and the force is extremely small), but the only place that we have fought them is in Leeds and Cambridge.

ok enough about the LSF please im sick of everyone bashing and flaming us for a simple mistake.. im sure we arent the only faction who has done some things wrong if you really have nothing good to say about us i have a suggestion for you... dont say anything at all? go flame another faction please im sick of it.
