Alain is a very simple man. He loves wine, cheese, and shooting rocks whom have been deemed hostile to the GMS. Coming from a family that prided themselves on wealth and affluence, Alain was kept out of public view, his family embarrassed by him. When his father heard of a job opening in the GMS that would put Alain far from home, he pulled some strings and got his son the job.
Alain didn't mind, he found shooting hostile rocks to be relaxing and entertaining. Having never been with a woman, Alain attempts to court any Sirian woman he encounters so that the other miners will quit teasing him.

Background:
Pierre Butterscotch, a calm and pleasant family man from Planet Nevers, is happily married to his wife of 16 years. However, sometimes his prowling instincts can overwhelm him in the heat of the moment. Shooting rocks all day really get's ze juices flowing if you know what I mean. Once a fine madame shows up while on the job, Pierre fights hard to control his inner Gallic tenancies. He was raised under the motto of "Gallics are lovers not fighters," making it even more difficult to resist initiating a blistering charm offensive that takes his female target's breath away.
Still, Pierre is very protective of his wife. Any locker-room style wise cracks about her from his co-workers are fiercely challenged. By now they know that she is off limits, and a ball of Plasma awaits anyone who dares to insult her in Pierre's presence.
In his spare time, Pierre enjoys shooting rocks, stones, and pebbles. Besides that, he dabbles in wine tasting and likes his holotainment centre. Pierre has 2 children...one of whom is a complete disappointment. Pierre is relatively new to the company and is not known to be very ambitious. He's just looking for a steady paycheck and some comradery at the workplace.

When I waz leetle, I went to ze school zat haz all ze bullies. Zey take ze 'ardest rocks zey can find and 'it me ovare ze 'ead wid zem. Zey no look fo' ze smooth rocks, no. Zey grab ze rocks wid ze sharp edges to zem. Me 'ead always 'urt like, 'ow you say? sheet. I start very much to 'ate ze rocks.
When I waz older, I got job wid a quarry company pulling ze rocks out of ze ground. One day, when I waz working, zis big rock fall down ze 'ill and land on me leg. Lots of me workmates, zey laugh at me. When I got free from ze rock, me workmates start calling me One Wheel or Busted Tire cuz me leg no work like before. I really 'ate ze rocks after zat.
Finally, me friend call me an say, 'Why you keep taking ze crap from ze rocks? Why you no start giving some of ze crap back to zem? You show zem rocks who ees boss.'
I zink zat be good idea. So, I apply to ze GMS for a job mining ze rocks. I laugh all ze time now as I shoot ze rocks wid me lazers. Take zat you stoopid rocks. I spit at you. Patooie. Best part of zis job, ees I get paid to be mean to ze rocks. Ees like a dream come true.

Jean Pierre DeLome was born on Planet Nevers. He had a normal childhood and graduated school with normal grades. One day, He saw a poster about the war being declared on floating rocks and about Ze Arch. Upon further reading, He realized it was a Gallic Metal Service employment poster. He decided to take the poster to the office and sign up.
Mr. DeLome has a wife and three kids, a son and two daughters, back on Planet Nevers. He uses the alias "Jean Pierre LeBlanc" to protect them and his other relatives. He his a devout follower of Ze Arch and enjoys shooting hostile floating rocks.

Background:
Little is known about this man. His time spent in the GMS has caused him to forget his own identity - he has been fully assimilated by Ze Arch. He spends his time shooting rocks and worshiping Ze Arch and laughing in an exaggerated French Accent.

Born: 661 AGS
Background:
New Paris, known for its high living, lifestyle, and drinks. Some say that if you are just born there, you will have a long, rich future. Then again, some say you are screwed for a living. And if your are born in orbit of the planet on a experimental station with faulty gravity washers, you will be enlightened and be the next great leader of Gallia.
But saddly Raphael was born on Alesia Station with normal gravity.
While still a youth, he followed his father around the station as he worked. His father was a bulk mover, working grav lifts to move ore around the station. When Raphael became of age to work, he began an internship working with his father, who at that time was promoted to Ore Processing Manager. He worked the lifts for years till a request went out for new pilots to haul goods. Raphael thought it was a good oppurtunity to go out and see the stars, and signed up. two years and a few piloting classes later, he was hired as a transport pilot.
While flying through a lane on one faithful day, the lane was cut. Strange ships circled his transport and demanded his load. He quickly activated his shields and began firing. He managed to take out one before they began their assault on him, avoiding the transports defence weapon mounts. Taking this as a cue to leave, he powered up his cruise engine and began his hasty retreat. He was forced to fly away from the lane, and the system in general. The pirates were persistant, and followed him into a unknown nebula.
Raphael was quickly running out of fuel, and needed to loose his chasers. A sudden reading of a jumphole came up on his screen, and he quickly changed course for it. When he jumped through, the hole was unlike any he has seen before. It wasn't a circle due to the fact it never connected. Once through, he was in a strange system, lost in a nebula. He moved his ships from the hole in fear the pirates might come through, and left the nebula. Thats when he found the object that changed his life.
Before him -or more like around him- was a incomplete circular object, the ends going far off beyond his ships sensors. What seemed to be the apex was before him, pulsing with power. At this point, he blacked out, and records on the ship of the system seemed to never exist. Raphael woke up in a hospital on Gap, and was never the same. His mental stability seemed to be lacking by some standards, but he claimed to have been enlightened. Scans of his brain showed weird tampering, as if memories were forced apon him and others taken away.
He disappeared for three years, then suddenly came back pronouncing a being called Ze Arch. People generally ignored him till he started getting followers. Most were people he knew from Alesia. Most were GMS workers, and the word of Ze Arch spread like wildfire. He was asked to be hired as a Bishop of Ze Arch, to further the moral boost the top brass was seeing. The moral boost became more than just a spirit lifter, and became a full fledged religion, Charlemagne being the highest power of it. Seeing the ties Ze Arch had with the GMS, he began to lace together the two, bringing the modern day company to what it is.
Background : Gerard Dragance was born with a pencil in his mouth from parents both well versed into the art of writing. Their son was obviously to follow suit, and he consequently followed litterature studies.
One day, as he had put his body to rest in order to browse more efficiently through his mind, hunting for novel ideas, something entirely new developed in his brains. Something so shiny, it was a source of light and delight to his spirit. Then, during his vision, some big, bold letters appeared in the middle of the light ; the letters said this : "ZE ARCH". Then the light departed as incongruously as it appeared.
Astonished and in quest for truth, Dragance did what every person in quest for truth does these days ; he typed "ZE ARCH" in the Gallic Extranet search engine, Froogle.
Naturally, each and every result of this search lead to the One and Only corporation ; the Gallic Metal Service. He applied in no time, still absorbed by his Quest. When he exposed the sole reason of his joining to the recruiters, he was hired almost instantly ; Among those who had listened to him, those who weren't convinced yet of the astounding benevolent power held by ZE ARCH now were fully supporting Dragance in his Quest for Truth. To his followers, he spoke thus ;
"Follow me, brothers, and together, let us Discover the Truth held by ZE ARCH by busting the holy sand out of the Godly rocks ZE ARCH will graciously submit to us."
