Why couldn't a Junker be light green to the LN or LPI? I wouldn't say you're neutral to one another. They protect you so long as you don't break the law. Seems friendly enough if you ask me.
I'm not sure how long its been an issue - I know it was on my Reaver last year.
Your wrong Hawk. Most my junker chars in NY have been going hostile to all since start of 4.86 came out everytime a BH showed up. Were other threads back in January about it, but nothing was done. Was in the bug threads but nothing was done.
I just said the hell with it. Most my junkers are now green with all but Kusari, xeno,HF. People think it is OORP? screw them. NPCs ruin the RP if your red to them. Also 99% of the freelancers, and pirates are OORP being neutral/green to all. RP is very rare on this server these days.

I suppose they could be light green. If this is the easiest way to resolve the issue then I guess that's where we'll go. In the old days of Yanagi we used to keep BHG red on purpose so they would never sneak up on us, but as I said those were the old days.

Maybe I am wrong, I'm certainly willing to admit that. I guess a more proper statement would be that I only noticed it within the last few weeks. Before that time the server was so full when I was flying my Junkers in Liberty so I wouldn't have noticed on way or another because the NPC's weren't a factor. I didn't take that into consideration. I know it was not a problem for us in 4.85 though. If this is not something that just changed we may simply all have to change our BHG reps.
My opinion, your rep should match your junker playstyle. If you are a lawful junker, you should be positive or at least neutral rep with law enforcement. If you are a junker that pirates in the independent systems then your rep should be hostile. I believe this reflects rule play as well as role play.

Apologies. I misunderstood your complaint.
I'm not sure if there's much of a solution, honestly, when thinking about it. Maybe if there was a way to change that empathy so that it didn't automatically go red, but I don't think there's a way to do that.
Is it possible that you can get the Junker rep without actually taking anti-BHG missions, such that you're not automatically red to them, or is that something that's hard set once you get the ID? I know that, until the ID rep sets came out, it was quite possible to make my BHG completely green with Corsair or Hessians - sometimes in the course of just one or two patrols.

I'm not saying to go light green with the BHG. If you are suppose to be red to the Guild be red. To prevent the LN or LPI from shooting you when a BHG NPC appears (due to empathy) raise your LN/LPI rep. They'll see two people they consider friendly fighting and will not involve themselves. At least that is my understanding of it.

Killing Xenos in New York and Texas work the best. However, the missions quickly get all Liberty Navy, police and Corporations reputations to green.

Actually, the only reason we're NOT hunting you down all over Sirius is because you whined to the governments of Rhienland and Liberty about us taking the Kusari bounty upon Junkers.
Btw, what'd be Core pilot's possible actions if he would meet a junker in Omicron/Omegas? Do they fall under "pirates and terrorists" category in the ID? (P.S. Yes, I know official Core really isn't interested in actively hunting down those or anything else xcept for Order/Nomads, but I'm talking about possibilities here)

Depends where they meet them, mostly. Obviously if you're in Omega 56, the Core will kill you now. In Omega 15, they'd probably kill you. If you're in the cloud anywhere close to Dabadoru, they'll kill you. Otherwise, unless you're doing something really stupid (like hauling around artifacts, carrying nomad remains, or pilots), we'd probably just glare at you and call you dirty names.
And yeah, we know you have a base in Omega-15. We don't really care... :)

No, that's actually the base NPC reputation. If Bunters and LPI for instance are friendly to eachother (which according to their infocards, they should be. Not allied, just friendly) then the empathy triggers when LPI and Bunters are in range of eachother and a player goes red with either one. The problem usually becomes more acute when the LPI then triggers all the other house factions, including military, to go hostile. Solution would be to disconnect the initialworld reputation settings between the BHG and Police factions, which is kinda against how it should be.
Why would a junker be red against BHG anyway? To my knowledge they're not repninjad hostile to eachother...
Please recheck this after update 4 is applied. I fixed/reworked a LOT of the empathy settings between factions.
