This again?

Pisch off. Admins aren't likely or quick to change their mind on any ruling - good or bad.

Remove it for factions where it makes sense there are multiple groups. Police, Navy and corporations should stick to one faction per ID, most others... not so much.

I voted to remove it.

There are so many factions that are official, but do NOT even come close to having the required amount of time in game to stay official but yet they remain official.

Now, there are many reasons why I am sure, but if one of them is you do not have enough time because you are in other factions or you are playing other characters more, then let someone else have the opportunity to make a go of it and step aside.

Since that will not be an option at least let there be more than one faction per id or better yet, why not allow people to create an entirely new faction and have their own id.

I don't care... But I think that Navies should only be represented by 1 official faction. The rest depends on a case by case scenario.

I agree, it makes no sense for groups such as the Junkers, Zoners, and some criminal groups. But navies are under unified command. I can sorta see corporations with different factions RPing different departments, but in the end, they all are the same company, and should be treated as such.

The HR department of my company can't exactly go out and declare themselves independent.

I think the benefits of this rule outweigh the drawbacks.
