Don't be silly, miners aren't the only ones using tractor beams y'know? Would be sad to demand somebodies pilot in ones hold and see it being ejected into space, not being capable to track it in heh.

' Wrote:How about bringing back at least the use of the tractor beam for mining?

If I'm not mistaken they changed this as the 'clouds' of ore floating around mining ships caused a lot of stress on the server. Also people flying by and stealing your ore is no longer possible, but of course it came with a couple of downsides too.

I'mma stick to my opinion 'suck it up'.

There are more people adding themselves to the playerbase every single day, & because of the larger numbers, things have to change to compensate for that. Things are tried. sometimes they work, sometimes they don't but imho, those who pine away for the old days of how mining used to be simply need to adapt with a constantly growing animal & stop pining for the way things used to be. Those days are over.

LIVE IN THE NOW!!

As far as I know I'm still entitled to an opinion too.

I see some people come on here and suggest some so called improvements that I personally find ludicrous but I wouldn't dream of saying that to them.

I'm not pining for the past It's just that in 'MY' opinion some of the recent changes were a mistake and I don't agree that we just have to "Deal with it" as some here are ever so fond of telling others. I don't tell others what they should do unlike some, but I do reserve the right to present my opinion.

I have said on several occassions before that the price nerf was sufficient which obviously says that I believe this depletion thing is naff and we should return to reliable if slightly reduced "reliable" yields. That would be my proposal.

Would it make everyone happy? Obviously not but that's impossible isn't it?

First of all, you don't just flick a switch and things go back to the way they were. Things happen through people's hard work, and certainly not your hard work.

There are other things that have a similar effect, "punishing the grown ups as much as the dipsticks", yet you only chose this one to complain about. I'm tempted to think that you only consider things from YOUR point of view, a narrow point of view, I'll add, and that you only care about what's good for you, disregarding the community.

Also, you are entitled to your opinion, of course, but nobody asked. So by the simple fact that you go and make such a thread you are trying to impose your view on others.

don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that people aren't entitled to an opinion, I'm just saying that this is only a game that is constantly evolving. What's past is past & logically, we ain't going t return to the way things used to be unless we reduce our numbers to where they were back when things were the way they were.

Oh. & rouge, tellin people to grow a pair ain't helpin' it just aggravates the people that lack 'em & overthink their freetime HOBBY:P

I don't choose to use personal insults either.

This from a so-called Forum moderator. Very commendable.

Well, I apologize if you feel insulted. Foolish me always forgets that what is right for me might be wrong for someone else. Do you see something in common with the OP? Also, 'burg, I see "grow a pair" not like an insult more like...motivational speech?:D

Perhaps you should give yours away. Might improve the attitude.
