cap ship limiting

Were is all this battleship whoreing happening? I have not been on the server long but in 6 weeks of playing here I have yet to fight a battleship. I have had an Osiris for about 3 weeks. I mostly stay at crete. Twice now a large group of corsairs have gotten together and were like, lets go harass Alpha So I tag along. During these 2 times Ive been the only BS in the Corsair group.

A battleship with gunboat support. Battleships do not need fighter support. They need gunboat support in my opinion.

WERE? Please tell me. I have no desire to fight fighters, gunboats, or even destroyers. I got my Osiris because of this constant rumor that folks are capship whoreing all over the place.

With the new limitation on Capships and most factions having limitations of their own it is not possible at the moment for me to join one with my Osiris. However, I defer to any Corsair who is in a player faction on just about anything when one is around. Long as they are not acting like a total a-hole to other players. People that spend 30 minutes rule lawyering and making accusations oocly to every minute they RP, I tend to ignore them.

My solution to player groups who are having a problem with others in CapShips..get some capships. Dock em at your homeworld. If some overwhelming force is headed your way..get your capships out. If no capships are headed your way then go with your ships of choice.

If your playerfaction is maxed on allowed capships, make an independent character and make him a capship captain. You do not need to be TBH or any other player corsair group to be a corsair battleship captain. Same for everyone else be a plain old Outcast BS captain. Or BH BS captain..or whatever.

Im all for people organizing large scale battles and each side setting up rules for ship usage. But to make it a server wide sanctionable rule seems a little excessive.
