i guess there ll be a traffic jam at jumpgates. so the first one that gets into the line of the jumpgate sequence will probaby win. ( unless he s shot down a by a rogue wolfhound there )

I think you should put in a rule that doesn't allow anyone to buy new equipment. Make a 8500 entry fee to the race and an equipment check upon registering. The other day me and another player created new chars to Starflea PvP in Connecticut and we bought 2 MkII and a MkIII weapons (really, I don't remember the names). The flea goes boom pretty quick with those if you stand still. I'm guessing it won't be fun like that. Let them have the MkI weapons, but only that.
