The broadsword is different all of these things, different school of thought entirely.
The Bayonet's Wings ain't short, they are just not wide. To me the Gunship and Bayonet look do not look similar at all. It's like comparing a Cube to a Pipe with round Edges. The Broadsword on the other Side shares a lot of Similarities. You can see the Evolution going from Light Fighter, to Bomber, to Gunship
