But yea, restricting trade and establishing law is NOT the perogative of the police, it's something the government does. That'd be the perogative of King Charlie. The police and navy enforce the law, they do not make it (even when in many houses, government and military are played by the same players out of convenience). Until I see RP to the contrary, however, I'm going to assume the Gallic lawfuls are in agreement on this one.
If not, lobbying might sway a mind or two here. If it proves to disrupt other players ability to build bases (which I doubt since it only takes a -fighter- load of cryocubes to make one) an additional sale point for cryocubes can be set with a small tweak to the economy override and a server restart. Something to keep in mind, just in case someone's having an oorp power trip here...
