Civilian Cruiser

Luis and Pancakes, thank you. I would like to remind people that this is a sci fi genre game, not something you think shouldnt happen. If civilians shouldnt have cruiser, then they cant have bombers and gunships, restricting them to the transports, which may have decent armor, however, it would make it difficult since Bombers can take out a transport in a few hits. And Thyrzul, taking a quote from a game I have played, "It's a dangerous place out there." This means that its tough not only for the civilians, but the pirates that attack a ship they think is defenceless against them. Cruisers would be a defusers for these situations and to top it, it wouldnt be a replacement for transports, it would have similar characteristics of a regular Cruiser, making it a Escort instead of a transport role. We can not continue with Disco's idea of keeping ships out of certain players hands, something to remedy such a situation would limit on who can and who cant. I have been thinking a good time about the factions that could use it, Pirates would not be able to use it due to the powercore reduction from 100% down to 10%, forcing the indie pirate player to rethink about his ship choices.

In some ways, Luis is right, and a reason I think that a cruiser for civilians would benifit, other than your thoughts on how it would go Thyr. Also what is and isnt Freelancer has been obscured but all the other mods and their ships, I rest my defence on that for design wise on any ship I make.

So far, trying to replicate the model has been more of a challenge, and then theres the texturing part I have to do thats even harder to deal with. Hopefully, I can make something a bit better and with textures.
