Susan laughed a little, although not quite as easily as she had been."Maybe you can't handle it as well as you think, even if you're a big man now. I just don't look forward to standing up..."
With this, she slid down her place on the bench a little, resting the wine glass against her nose.
Finishing the remaining splash of red, she looked up with a sheepish expression on her face."Alright, you can help me up and to the door. I think I'll stay in one of the bigger rooms, wouldn't want you going out your way."As she was helped to her feet with only a short unsteady moment, she turned to Kyle with a laugh,"and if people saw us wandering off together they might think we were getting up to all sorts of mischief."
As they finished making their way out of the bar, Susan steadied herself on his shoulder with her hand."Thank you for the escort, Warrant Officer Westridge."she said, before kissing him on the cheek, resting softly against him for a couple of seconds. Stepping back and giving a shy smile,"It was lovely seeing you again, Kyle. We can see about that deal later on."
With another smile, she started to stumble a little down the corridor to the left, although not making great progress.
