I see what you're getting at but no. Nice idea in theory, but you have nooooooooo idea how much drama it would create.

It's different when dealing with the internal politics of a faction because on some level you get to actually know those people, and it is your job as a leading member of the faction to keep them in line.

In an open ingame environment, you don't know anybody and they don't know you. You'll end up with a bajillion "WHO'S NAME.HERE'S SKYPE? HE KICKED/MUTED/BANNED ME RAAAAGAHSADHBDSHU"

So you handle that stuff on a basis of simply leaving the group and working with who you know. And, if you can't get your own crew to sit down and shut up when needed? Well then you're doing something wrong.

+1 for returning setmsg in group though, for sure.
