Long story short, its kinda bad. actually, worse than kinda. Definitely bad.

Its a bit like the F-35 but in space. It can't turn, can't maneuver, can't run.

Its like a floating punching bag. Against its main rival (the RMBS) its out-everything. Arcs are poor for head on combat, and rear arcs fail as well. It has less armor than the RMBS and less weapons it can bring to bear on the RMBS (at once). Sure its got a plethora of small BS weapon slots, but It doesn't matter. Bomber torp spam will Most definitely ruin you.

The Dreadnought on the otherhand is pretty damn good in a fight (when you know how to fly it). Don't charge, fly at range and hammer your target, dodging any Cerb fire that the RMBS throws at you.

Even then, the main enemy that LNS fight now are Rogue Destroyers, the occational Outcast Storta, and Rheinland Cruisers. All of which will make swiss cheese out of a carrier. Its big, slow, and useless. For RP its nice, and It looks damn sexy, but otherwise.... not useful.

Assuming you ignore everything I say, You need 360 Flak Coverage, to keep Nova's off you. A cloak might also be useful, to run away when Cruisers blot out the sky. Normal solaris are marginally good for anti-bomber, and secondaries will keep the gunboats away. While I hate missilespam, it is effective(ish) to keep cruisers out, but they only work in bulk. If you have a friend in a fighter CDing and confusing the cruisers at the same time that helps...but not by much.

Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.
