Rheinland Stronger than Disco Gives Credit

What's right about the OP is that "once upon a time" Rheinland was able to build an enormous fleet. This means that, again, "once upon a time" they had a large stockpile of resources and a strong economy.

Which in turn should mean that they are able to recover.

The thing here is that they were supposed to have totally dried themselves up with that stupidly massive Nomad War fleet, and of course everything got smashed at the end of that. Heavily nerfing them by saying no fleet in all of Disco is stupid, but second strongest (by far) before Gallia appeared, not so much. Then again, if they can go from 1 to 70 in two decades it makes the logic of smaller groups being able to produce a handful a bit easier to go with.

I've also decided to bookmark this post of mine since I haul it out so much. For "what happened in the past" view that you are taking, perhaps this older thread has some merit too.
