are fighters with spyglass/battleship scanners OORP?

You all care too much about in RP situation ignoring more important stuff like game mechanics and range of CDs,detection range and line speeds.
You should try to pirate BS or spyglass scanner equipped traders on the lines. If the said trader is not retarded he cannot be pirated,sad that you all miss that one.
I fail in that dunno how to counter their extreme range, may be this game breaking feature would speed the things up. I really wonder if the people that add such game breaking stuff ever test it before implementation.
