Hass, I'm only a fan of the hard science fiction. Star Trek, Star Wars and Mass effect saga are my favorite non-book science fiction historys for example, but when comes the moment of criticize them I have no mercy.

1. As it is a one-way ticket and the AIs used the Gate that were constructed by the infected i don't see the problem you are talking about. The entity simply can't jump by itself, because it isn't in his physical nature.

Fine. Then for what logical reason the gate allow the travel of physical objects if the objective of it's construction is bring an non physical being? You have to clarify this part. Or Nymalis send scouts to other dimension looking for his next launch or you modified the gate. Something.

A terrible argument. That maybe true in concensus original dimension but here (at least in Sirius). Nymalis depends on the local beings of the dimension to enter so the optimal strategy isto be able to control any remotely setient thing posible. You can solve this by saying than that natural mental processes are too redundant for an efective control.

Plus. There are some living spieces ON EARTH than doesn't seems to age. They are cnidaries of course but an inmortal setient being is actualy a posibility.

They are expanded to at least part of the old Don Kabosh territory. Maybe they are isolated now but they are not only here.

A solution to my point would be for exaple saying that Sirius is in a special place in the universe for some reason. For example is the equivalent in our Dimension where in yours the Dimensional gate was build.

Saying we came from another galaxy and not from another dimension doesn't make a difference at all for us individually, but makes the whole storyline corrupt and obsolete.

On the contrary, it opens another set of possibilities than you are simply ignoring right now.

It disappoints me that you want to participate in the AI Consensus, but it seems you haven't read the lore in detail.
