I think there are times when it's a legit move and times when it's pure stupidity.

Scenario One: Large groupfight. Could go either way. Someone is out of ammo and needs a restock. Quietly slipping away to restock and repair (well out of range of the fight of course) and then returning is fair enough.

Scenario Two: Lone lawful and lone unlawful cross paths. One wants to fight, one does not and turns and heads for a base. Fair enough.

Scenario Three: Lone lawful and lone unlawful cross paths. Both wish to fight. One eventually realises they are outmatched and when relatively close to death, turns around and has to thrust madly for 15 minutes. Not ok, especially in the cases one side leads the other to their "secret" base in that foreboding nebula, which inRP betrays the HQ of the whole operation. Not ok.

Scenerio 1 isn't what I talked about. I talked about docking mid-fight.
