Up until now, the overall complain about this particular line is that it is used between two different factions and encounter two differently geared surroundings. That trying to balance them both against both Liberty and Bretonia is near impossible.

That's honestly not the issue. The issue is that many of the LR ship models are just hilariously oversized. A good example is the Hyena, which is currently a Heavy Fighter (and used to be a Light Fighter) despite being larger than many of the Bombers in this mod.

This means that the LR only really have the Greyhound - which should be more viable now than it was before, by the way - as a fighter, since their Heavy Fighter is an absolute joke and they have no Light Fighter whatsoever.
