Unable to get desired resolution

noticed the screen resolution was a little off when I saw the "Ne" of New player not showing. Also there is a small black pane on the right side because of an incorrect resolution being used of course.

Sounds like your monitor is offset for some reason--

provided your monitor has it's own button layout and isn't a CRT, there should be an option somewhere in one of said aforementioned button's menus. Good luck finding it.
