The Gibraltar, my proud Percheron, has been given back to HGL for a lucky new employee. Now, I am flying a Large Train, designated Gibraltar (aren't I original?). It took a while to pay off the hefty repayments for this ship, but it's a beauty. Sleek looks, massive cargo space and sufficient firepower make it a great buy. A tip to all Highland-Gateway employees, if you want to trade in style, use a Large Train.
Today I hauled two major shipments of raw minerals to Bretonnia and Liberty. After loading up crates of Beryllium from Kensington (those crates are damn heavy), I hopped into the Gibraltar and launched.
I engaged cruise engines and left for Cortez.
At Cortez, I docked with Planet Curacao for a short rest break (can't fall asleep at the interface panel). I soon left through the nearby jump gate to California. Pueblo Station was only a few systems away, so I arrived there in short time.
The run netted me a whopping 4,977,000 credits. The soaring prices of Beryllium worked in my favour... I must thank the IMG for supplying us with so much Beryllium.
On the way back to Bretonnia, dock workers on Planet Manhattan filled the Gibraltar's cargo pods with Boron. Utilising the same waypoints as before, I proceeded via autopilot to Kensington Shipping Platform. I continued onwards to Leeds, then to LD-14. Thankfully the separatist Molly had decided not to attack the station, as there were no hostiles in the area. A successful run, as HGL made 5,400,000 credits.
I would be ready for more runs, but I am resting on Leeds at the moment. Getting your feet on solid ground helps a lot (especially with the stress levels).
