Who can use civilian guns?

Alright, I don't have a big deal with the Tigershark, else I'd have brought it up when I first saw you using it. Admins have said it shouldn't be used though, and there is no point in arguing it. However, the Debs are not available in any possible RP way to the Corsairs.. Especially when the Corsairs have their own. The Debilitators were put in to give other factions hostile to the Corsairs a shieldbuster that was ALMOST as good as the Tizzy. Not to give the Corsairs another shieldbuster to use. Especially when it can only be gained by OORP docking on a hostile base.. Either way you deserve to be sanctioned.. Sanctioned for OORP weapons, or sanctioned for docking on a hostile base. You have to just to buy the weapon. And having no tag and a trader ID on your TBH/OPG/Benitez tagged ships doesn't mean your not hostile to them.. If your a TBH-tagged character, your Corsair, whether you've gained the tag and ID or not yet.


@Elgato; I, which isn't true of everyone here, am not bashing the Corsairs, only their use of OORP civvy shieldbusters.. And the thing that is the issue is that they are using them just so they can have equip-to-win loadouts.. The tizzys fit on LFs. 2 Class 8 slots, 2 Class 9s. They want the debbies so they can use class 9 hull busters on their LFs. They should be using Tizzys and class 8 hullbusters. That is their problem with them having the best shieldbusters. They shouldn't be able to make themselves better just by going RP when they can easily stay fully within RP by using a better shieldbuster and worse hullbuster. They just want to win, no matter what, and if that means throwing RP out the window, so what in their eyes. If they were using Tizzys and Salamanca Mk Is I wouldn't have a problem with them. But they are using Debbies so that they can use Salamanca IIs just to win. My LF doesn't have shieldbusters of any type at all and I just learn to deal with it, not try to get around it. They CAN use shieldbusters, but they get around the OORP so they can have a BETTER loadout that still uses shieldbusters.
