Even if he *had* an axe to grind with you or anyone else, this does not in any way or form diminish any sort of complaint he might have about the whole thing and you are not adding to the conversation by pointing that out instead of arguing the actual matter at hand.
If you don't have anything to argue against our actual complaint, please don't go that route and just attack on anything you might find on the person instead of the matter at hand.
