2017 has been interesting for me. I got laid off from my job in late February after two years to-the-day of sticking to my guns and playing the loyal employee card.
It was a blessing in disguise, however. It took a few months, but I finally got a job with the State of Florida government. Now health insurance woes are a thing of the past, which is important for someone with questionable gut health. My new job is the best I've ever had in my whole life, and there are plenty of chances for me to promote from within.
In terms of Discovery, my newest RP project is receiving a lot of positive vibes from others, and I'm excited to see where the Celtic Dragon Inn takes me in the coming months. I definitely want to set up an "about us" page, and I hope to make friends and acquaintences all over Sirius, and potentially Gallia, too.
While my overall gut health could use some work, I'm already taking steps to get myself set up straight. One day at a time, here.
I have a wonderfully loving life partner whom I enjoy spending every day with, and I'm ecstatic that our first RP with the Celtic Dragon Inn has left her and I craving more. Major kudos to @Megaera for being the spark we needed to start planning play sessions and upcoming RP threads!
It's been a ride so far, folks. Let's keep this party going!
