1.) Green text: the Sleeper Ship Gallia was not sabotaged, only the Hispania was. Instead the sleeper ship was meant to be a bait used by America and Britain to delay Coalition forces until the other five sleeper ships can leave in time. That betrayal is the basis of hatred and revenge of today's Gallia against Bretonia and Liberty.

The key of the survival of the french was that the official sleeper ship was an empty bulk, a decoy, and the real sleeper ship launched in secret, from somewhere else.

The notion of betrayal has been kept up ever since, prompting the 150 year long construction of the minefields and the maintenance of the massive war machine, so the idea that it became some sort of quasi-religious doctrine holds merit.

2.) The original explaination for the trade lane and jump gate system was that the Gallic Junkers stole the technology from Sirius with the help of the Sirian Junkers, but that was retconned upon massive community disagreement. The newer explaination was that Gallia has found their own version of the Valhalla site, but I don't remember if that was ever expanded upon and/or explained in detail. It can easily have relations to Calais indeed.

3.) The First Gallic Civil War has been fought between the Crown and the Normandy Separatists. Whether it was intended to be a single system or an entire region is unknown, but Normandy was situated behind a gate on the far end of Maine, which became sealed off at the end of the civil war, and was found as such by the time the Gallic Core systems became accessible as of 4.86. If my memory serves well, it was the Saumur herself watching over the gate until the supernova prompted the evacuation of the system.

Epernon infocard suggests that the war happened somewhere between 300 and 500 AGS, but then the fact the war already ended with a closed gate before 500 AGS suggests there was already an existent gate and lane system developed at least as far as two systems from the capital planet/system. That however conflicts with the idea that the technology would originate from Calais, though the station and the secrets it harbors can still be related.

Other than that, dates: 1 AGS is 85 AS, that's how the 84 year difference comes to existence. That's then correct at the end of the timeline, except the last line where I assume the 736 AGS date wasn't fixed to 740 AGS after a copy/paste from above.

This is a post by me written in like 30 minutes off the top of my head according to what I can remember, but at the same time I cannot tell where I've read or found what I've read and found and remembered when writing this post, unless I invest a bit more time into researching Wiki, infocards, past infocards, and actually find things. I certainly remember trying to look up more information about the Normandy Separatists in the past, only to fail finding what I recalled from even before that. How up to date the wiki is regarding infocards and history is also questionable in my opinon, and I'm not sure about the consistency of infocards either (Saumur infocard incorrectly paired years 781 AGS and 825 AS, likely a typo though).

All that said, I'm up to buffing up Gallic history and fixing the plenty of holes and gaps it has in collaboration with the rest of the Gallic playerbase, but for now I intend to refrain from making decisions and statements (past my memories) until others comment here. I also wonder if my attempt at developing Amiens a bit can be counted in.

@Taeni
Berry and Touraine were retconned, and neither had any sealed jump gates prior to that either. Lorraine could have been connected to the sealed off region though, and I remember Auvergne having another sealed jumpgate which used to be around where Saint-Flour is now, but disappeared without notice.

On the other hand I don't remember anything suggesting the separatists were as powerful and threatening to the Crown as you portray them to be.

Mind that this response was written after everything I wrote above it, as I refreshed and seen your post only after writing mine.
