You forgot "arguing for the sake of arguing", the best rebuttal to shrug off actual valid concerns and/or reason because you have literally nothing valuable or reasonable to counter what's been brought up against your view. It's still easier than considering perhaps you are wrong. Or bring reason forward to explain why you aren't wrong. Oh if I'd have a penny every time I've met that line...
