Through from the California system a gunboat proceeded trough the gate, and the subsequent lane, to Curacao. The etched and worn out hull of the aging Forrest Sherman-class gunship glimmered in the light of the Cortez sun, her turrets showing signs of tear and degradation, but all still kept at peak condition. Leaving the trade lane, the vessel would be accompanied by a full squadron of Liberty fighters from the Yukon, a mix and match motley crew of a two Guardians, an Avenger and a small Liberator.

"This Navy Patrol Gamma Sixteen to Liberty Naval Ship Turner Joy. We've got you on scanner. Forming up," the lead ship blared out, locking positions as the flight of five continued on behind the planet to the Coronado anomaly.
"We're reading a low Royalist activity scan today, ma'am. Montana control was unable to locate any residual force from the incursion yesterday."
"Good. Bring us in towards the anomaly. Proceed when ready."

Upon the order, the ships proceeded through to the rendezvous, bringing up a position near the rest of the group, sitting in waiting.

"This is Liberty Third Fleet vessel Turner Joy, Vice Admiral Michelle Collins speaking. We've arrived at the designated rendezvous point and are awaiting check in light for the other forces."
