Certainly not fifty or older but I do have heart problems, just in the electrical sense rather than plumbing. *****'s scary and exhausting. I do know people who have had bypasses done and I've heard the same from them, you're absolutely going to feel less than stellar for a little while, and that includes being totally exhausted. Glad to hear you're okay and wish you the best in your recovery.

There is pain, but it is being managed with pain killers.

The kicker is that even doing the most normal things, such as making coffee tires you out.

Yeah, anything to do with heart problems is scary.

I had a 'heart wire' taped to the front of my chest for the first few days after surgery so they could hook up a pace maker to bring things under control if they needed to.

I did not actually find out what that odd bit of wire was until just before they pulled it out, it just did not occur to me to ask. lol
