I don't see the fun in that. Maybe some do like to hunt ducks, but ... in such event, it doesn't work at all, and doesn't make sense.
Edit : we don't even know what type of transport it would be.Anything above freighter would have a bad time quickely

Let's just get rid of that part : it's a gameplay mistake in my opinion.

The transports for this event are custom Gulls with 3,000,000 hit points unarmored and 1,500,000 hitpoints for their engine section. They have more HP than a Legate.
