I think it depends on the RP, though some respect should be shown. Let's say someone started a special wing of the LPI - they'd have to at least respect my position as Deputy Chief, though depending on what they were RPing, they may or may not have to listen to my orders.

Like my completely non-related example, as I know what you're talking about?
