It looks good still though. Enclave were wiped when they tried it yesterday I think. Weekend will likely see some attempts.

I would recommend stocking it up on FOW, fuel and weapon platforms. I will even help and encourage others to do so if you want to make an effort.

This is a Core 3 Base, with a maximum of 800 million hit points (hps).

87% of its hps = 696 million hps. Therefore it it is down 104 million hps.

Now to restore those hps it will need a lot of Repair Materials (RMs).

2 of any RM will repair 2,000 hps per 20 seconds.

A damaged Base will repair at a rate of 2,000 hps x number of RMs (the 3 are Reinforced Alloy (RA), Robotic Hardware (RH) and Hull Segments (HS)) x Core Level per 20 seconds.

So a Core 3 Base, with all 3 RMs, will repair at a rate of 18,000 hps every 20 seconds - 54,000 hps per minute - 3.24 million hps per hour - 77.76 million hps per 24 hours.

Without taking any further damage it can repair its damage in approximately 32 hours.

Now for a Core 3 Base to repair 24 hours of damage (77.76 million hps) it will require:
2 of any RM per 20 seconds x Core level.
This equates to:
2 x 3 x 3 x 60 x 24 = 25,920.
25,920 RA
25,920 RH
25,920 HS (don't forget that HS takes 2 spaces)

So this is, effectively, 103,680 units of RMs that will need to be hauled (just over 20 5kers). Now if you say each round trip takes 15 minute, that will 5 hours of supplying.

This doesn't include the normal requirements for FOW nor does it include replenishment of Fuel used or the materials required to repair normal Wear & Tear damage taken by the Base (Core 3 uses 1,440 RA and 1,440 RH each day for this).

Now, you are advocating him to build Weapon Platforms (WPs) (in the middle of the siege)?

Each one requires:
• 10,000 Armaments
• 10,000 Hull Segments
• 15,000 Robotic Hardware
• 15,000 Industrial Hardware
• 10,000 Optronic Arrays
• 10,000 Quantum Arrays

Note that 2 RMs are also required to build a WP. If they are being used to build a WP, then they are not being used to repair the Base.

As for this, they haven't got time to fight as they have to spend time trying to keep the Base alive, by supplying it.

The destruction of any POB is achievable by a determined foe. He has the option to pick the the right time to shoot the Base when is less advantageous to the Defenders (recent POB losses in Kusari were done when the Server population were low). The repairing of Bases (higher Core ones) use a lot of RMs which need to be replenished (this takes up a lot of storage on a Base). And if you kill someone sieging a Base, he just waits an hour and he is back in to the fray.

We even have 'special' siege weapons that supposedly do a lot of damage to a POB (I never looked in to how good they are).


And in the time it has taken me to write this, the Base is down to 84.35%, that is another 24 million hps gone or 8 hours worth of supplies to repair it.
