Dumb stuff harms the game

This thread escalated quickly.

Hot topic. One half wishes to build sandcastles, having their little fun.
Another half wishes to smash sandcastles, spoiling builder's fun for having their party pooper fun.

One gets the giggles, and the rest (most) get kicked in the teeth.

A sandcastle on a beach is quickly made and everyone knows it isn't supposed to last. Granted some of my (deliberate) POB's were like that sandcastle, and I roleplayed the disappointed entrepreneur.
Goldgeist not a sandcastle. It is a well established POB, has had a huge investment in time and resources and the volume of people who want it to stay far exceeds the few who simply want to blitz Dublin.

A few want the giggles, most want the important role, and vitality Goldgeist provides.
