This seems a good idea to me and it also means that new players are able to get codes before they can afford them if that makes sense.

Adding commodities to this like rare ones to transport NPC may also be a great idea aswell but obviously the rare commodity would have to be examined.
You could do a transport full of sci data or even maybe a ship larger than A transport to carry it and fill its hold with data

I don’t know if it’s possible but a transport that could have a ramped up armor and hitpoints could be introduced which is extra hard to kill and also can kill the attacker.

All in all this meets my approval.

I may also think of more ideas if I can
