Let's see... Liberty agreed during the treaty signed in the Palace, that we would be allowed to keep our current research installations that existed during the conflict. In the Liberty Peace Accords, allow me to quote... ahem...

- Allowance to operate in Kansas in order to protect the local civilian populace, who reside there, and to study the points of alien interest. Provided the Liberty Forces are made aware of any on-going situations.

This means, Liberty, is free to operate in Kansas too, our stations are still owned by us - as we obviously run our own locations. The Government was aware of the on-goings in the nebulae as we elaborated in the meeting, it /has/ to be quarantined from public vessels. Your ships can still go in there as they will, but we're not going to allow the local rabble interfere with it, not even the Insurgency. As you may know, having ships mindlessly flying in there will interfere with studies.

Whether you made yourself concerned in correlation to us obtaining a system in the deeper Independet Worlds or not, the 'no military' thoughtline currently applies only to the Inverness sector - this is primarily to deter undercover elements of the infested forces. We cannot verify if a ship is truly under orders of another organisation or not. Bottom line, yes, you still own Kansas, yes, you can be here, yes you can go to Wichita. It would be of great preference if our installations were not touched though!
