Hello, with the development system rework we will try to take all story proposal ideas into the open discussion instead
We would very much appreciate if any involved parties and Story, Systemswho are off the clock gave us suggestions on the thing we are missing as well.
This thread is asking for help with fleshing out Molly, Coalition vs Core vs Corsairs conflict with Core caught in the middle proposal we'd like to make - but have no chance of formulating it properly without feedback and input from other parties.
There was clearly shown player interest in the almost completely forgotten about conflict in our test event, The Poole Rammy
The Gyst is this
1) Molly vs Corsairs is a big big deal in infocards and rumors especially but has not been touched by story in YEARS AND YEARS.
- even during the war, a beaten corsair Battlegroup just casually flew through Molly infested Dublin without any mention of issues or even attention from Mollys.
2) Grand Vista Orbital is now Core. It is surrounded by Coalition Mollys, Raiding Corsairs and Zoners that would probably want it back. There's little resources for Core to be had in 49, they lost Bretonian protection after their withdrawal - it just makes little sense for Core to want to keep holding the base.
Rough first idea
Mollys + Coalition Fight Corsairs in 49 to develop the conflict
The impact of the fight would be - ??? Help out please - Do Mollys/Coalition push into 41 against Sairs + damage their base as they are busy in Dresden? Do they lose and get pushed back or something else? Only making Core move doesn't seem like progressing the neglected conflict
Core are caught in the middle, surrounded by only hostiles and abandon Grand Vista, it then goes to - ??? help out please, Zoners? OSC? Mollys? Someone else? Gets destroyed?
The idle Core Battleship Mars gets deployed to help with evacuation, to remain in a West/South Omegas hidden somewhere
-Core keep same amount of useful dockable solars in Omegas, can actually use Mars as a chess piece with some progression finally for Core in Omegas.
A story event could be proposed too we assume in the same request
-Probably Molly/Coalition vs Sairs vs Core with Core/APM + everyone interested evacuation trade element ?
