The event centers around freighter usage primarily. If I had LPI only, I think the event would be too easy for the smugglers. If it involved all the Navy, they would just park their caps at the dock and shoot anything that moves, making it too hard for the smugglers. I tried to find a balance. It may be all for nought anyways, since I can’t really stop LN from participating in the event just as I’m not really keen on babysitting this event to make sure unlawfuls don’t fly caps into Liberty and turn NY into a great big ball of fire. So, long story short, I want to encourage LPI to participate, and if I rewarded LN with kill and credit points, nobody would fly LPI. Therefore, it may turn into cap hell in NY over the weekend, but freighters will get one heck of a stress test, the LPI will get filthy rich and freighter purchases will go through the roof.
Both LPI and LSF have access up to BCs, I don't think BSs from LN would make much of a difference. Missile BCs might prove to be far more dangerous than BSs anyhow.
