And they're really neutral to the Corsairs too. Just look at their infocard. It says they're using the OC-Corsair war to their benefit. Not to the benefit of the French.

"Emergency Transmission:
Three Corsairs have just exploded outside! THE OUTCASTS ARE MARAUDING! OH GOD! YOU'RE VIOLATING THE SAFETY BUBBLE!"

Mmm... I don't think thats quite what Gallia was looking for in agents.

However, that's just what the French would do, sit and bicker about the safety bubble and preemptively ready a little white flag in case something big shows up and determines them to be in the way. It might not have been what Gallia was looking for, but a Frenchie is a Frenchie. :P
