"OBSIDIAN"-Class - Improved Sample Extraction A new mining and sample extraction array able to shear materials as significant depths. Often the Starfliers catalogue various wrecks and sampling of material components. This project bears its name for the efficiencies of obsidian shards able to achieve a 2-3 nm wide cutting surface without manual intervention. Even small cutting surfaces are possible under specific conditions. This natural material acts as the benchmark of success for this project . .
