Location: HMS Elephant, Omega 3

Esteemed Inspektorin Freyja Wolf,

the Armed Forces see no problems with trade vessels of the Kaiserliche Polizei traversing Bretonia, as long as two conditions are met. Fighting ships escorting these vessels must be of gunboat class or lighter and any checks by Bretonian authorities have to be complied with. The first condition may be relaxed if the escorting vessels are of the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehrs quick response unit stationed in Omega 7 carrying out their duties within the boundaries set by agreements between the Kaiserlichen Rheinwehr and the Bretonian Armed Forces.
As you represent a police authority I assume I do not need to explain that foreign state entities are under special observation within another houses sovereign space. Of course all laws that apply to commercial trade vessels will apply to your vessels as well.
I would recommend you send future requests of this kind directly to the appropriate government office, my time is limited and other matters usually take precedence. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the delayed approval.

yours sincerely
Sir Jacob McIntire
