Okay, now I understand. I asked because sometimes I still get confused about the meaning of entire sentences and in this case, even though it's short, I had understood that humans would be at a greater disadvantage. That would be terrible, because aliens, even under equal conditions, have a slight advantage in several aspects. But now it's clear to me. It wasn't at all what I started out thinking.
