Two days of roughly two-weeks event has passed and as we were gathing at server prime-time-ish event windows, the activity wasn't as much as pleasing. People still mostly make runs for hauling at times when there's less chances to have an encounter with the "opposing" playerbase and that is not satisfying for anyone except traders. Not to mention, how bad the situation with powertrading is, rememvering shitposts here from earlier.
I think, having it all scheduled would make the whole event more accessible AND fun, as I imagine people would actually gather big convoys and big ambushes for them. Just make it someting like from 17 or 18 UTC and last for several hours as I believe most of the players are able to log in AND be interested in logging in because of assurance, that thier desired encounter is real enough and there's no need to float around for an hour to meet a single ship that's happy to die and relog on another char. That is all for purpose of everyone could take part in all the fuzz and/or respawn from previous encounters. Wrap up the playerbase and do not stretch it, IMHO.
