Additional Information: Fresh install of Windows 11

The problem is right there, everyone running this game on Windows 11 seems to be dealing with FLUF and Direct3D 8 issues. This might sound stupid and hyperbolic, but eventually there'll be a point where people will have to run Linux on top of Windows, to then run Wine on top of Linux to run ancient Windows programs.

but it says "DirectX setup has determined that a newer or equivalent version of DirectX has been installed already. No installation is necessary." Then when trying to boot the game i still get the error below:

Try uninstalling it then install it again, or if there's some option that says "repair" go for that. If it still doesn't work then locate that library which should be in sysWoW64 and place it on the EXE directory. If it still doesn't work then I'm afraid I'm out of ideas, maybe you'll save headache if you rollback to Windows 10 or switch to GNU+Linux.
